Wolfgang Hanf

Wolfgang Hanf was admitted to the bar in 1986 and licensed as civil law notary in Frankfurt am Main in 1991. From 1977 to 1985, he worked for an accounting firm, and from 1986 to 1989 for a business consultancy. Between 2003 and 2017, he was an associate professor for transformation law at the Wiesbaden Business School. He also co-authored the book Bankrecht – Bankensystem, Bankenaufsicht, Recht der Bankgeschäfte (Nomos Verlag, 2001). Wolfgang Hanf received his doctorate degree from Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia. On 12 April 2017, he was appointed to teach at Petre Andrei University in Iași, Romania, and is entitled to bear the title of Associated Visiting Professor.
